The world of Eclipse Phase is a real one! The creators of EP have succeeded in creating a universe that is result of the natural progression of humanity (soon to be transhumanity) as we know it.
EP sparks the imagination deeply. This is rarely done so well in the world of commercial rpgs in this day and age. EP is so real and so fascinating that it is possible to get completely lost in the 'verse and forget that right here in real life, your own ego is , unfortunately attached to your body permanently. I cannot upload to novacrab, and octopus, or a robot yet EPs creators have done such a fine job that almost know what it would be like if I could.
I think Eclipse Phase is only just begining. With blogs like these, and other fan sites and offical content, EP will grow monstrously. The bottom line is it is a product of great quality and deep imagination and it's clear the fun is just getting started.
